Ahhh, here we are in beginning of another year, 2019. Can you believe it? I thought it would be fun to blog on my own personal favorite images from 2018. I've never made it a point to create year end favorite blog before. Not sure why? It was fun to go through the past year's client images and remember these special moments. Although it can be hard to pick favorites there always seems to be a few images in each session I capture that really stand out to me that I just adore! So let's look back at the past year to remember some stellar images!

Oh my word, as I was capturing this, in that moment, I thought this is amazing! I could definitely feel the love and how much this couple adores each other! I think it is incredibly cute that the newborn was awake and staring at her parent's love!

I am always a sucker for those images where they are looking away or looking down. Not that I don't love a straight on smiling face but there is something awesome about this type of pose that I just love.

Sharon is an local realtor at Re/Max Mid Michigan and I absolutely loved capturing her image for her real estate marketing imagery! I bet you didn't

know that even headshot can be a blast to have captured?!

Oh my! This one year little girl was too much fun! Her mom said this was her new expression for her and this capture was just too cute!

I told this gorgeous women's portrait client that this image reminded me of an Estee Lauder magazine ad. I don't think I could ever tire of this image! It's perfect!

This is image of this one year old is just so sweet! I love how his eyes just pop at me!

What's not love about this image? Seriously what could be more precious than

a newborn baby snuggling a teddy bear?

I LOVE mom and baby images so much! This one is simply perfect!

The one year milestone is so special as your baby is turning into a little person!

It's wonderful to make it a point to take the time to capture it because you never want to forget this special milestone moment! This one year old is just darling!

Another image from Kayla and her women's portrait session. Isn't she absolutely stunning? This image was captured with some backlight and it has quickly become one of my favorite poses for women's portrait sessions.

There is something so beautiful about a woman who is expecting. I know some women are so hard on themselves because obviously you are growing a baby inside of you, your body has changed to compensate for that miracle of a baby and yet some women feel unattractive during pregnancy. You will never regret having captured your pregnancy, ever! I love the add of the flower crown in this image, as well. She is so gorgeous!

Another image with the bear! The bear was a new prop add to our newborn prop collection and I was super excited to use it. I think it will become a client favorite prop selection piece.

Another adorable one year image! How can you not love this?

Not all Dad's choose to be a part of a portrait session. I strongly encourage each dad to take the time to create images like this! Dad's are just important to photograph! This image is just perfect! I just love it so much!
